Care

The removable, washable covers make cleaning your Koala Sofa Bed 4th Gen a breeze.

Regular Care

For your everyday care vacuum regularly (weekly) using low suction to remove dust and dirt and protect your sofa bed from direct sunlight.

Skip harsh chemicals and mop up spills quickly with a clean cloth or paper towel.

Removable Cover & Sleep Surface Care

When you need a more thorough clean, remove the outer covers of your sofa bed and always make sure to check the detailed instructions on the care labels sewn into the covers.

Spot clean as required or cold machine wash (maximum 30ºC) the removable covers separately from other items.

A few golden rules:

  • For spot cleaning, use a clean cloth and don’t scrub the covers with a stiff brush
  • Don’t use bleach or other harsh chemicals
  • Reshape the covers after washing whilst they’re wet
  • Let the covers line dry in shade and make sure that they are completely dry before fitting them back on
  • No ironing or tumble drying please!

Pilling

Pilling can occur occasionally as a result of normal daily wear and should not be considered a fault. Please check the care labels on your sofa bed to see if a battery operated pilling tool is suitable for the removal of fibre pills.

      Looks great in our small space

      Full size fits well in our small office space . I bought the luxe for natural look to accent with colorful decor and kind of wish I had gone with a smoother material . It’s kind of rough . My daughter slept on it last week to try it out and she said she had comfy and restful sleep. That is what I was most concerned with. And so easy to put together alone . And gold back up for sitting status was easy for one person .

      Really satisfied

      I’m gonna be honest, I was apprehensive about this sofa because, let’s be real, it’s expensive. Smaller sofa bed selections are limited and I wasn’t seeing anything I really liked online so when I saw Koala’s return policy and figured it’s worth a shot. Important bonus is that it arrived in 5 days (with a weekend in between). The sofa was easy to put together but some of the boxes were too heavy for me to bring up the stairs alone, but that’s a me problem. It’s very comfortable as a sofa. Deep enough and the right balance of firm/soft. We had company over shortly after it arrived and they had a great nights sleep. Much better than the air mattress that we put them on last time. I wish that the Luxe fabric came in more colors than just the gray, as I was trying to avoid more gray but it does have a lot of texture and different shades which helps break it up. Overall I’m very happy with my purchase and would recommend this sofa to anyone that doesn’t mind spending a little more for the convenience of quick shipping, easy to put together, easy to pull out into a bed, and good quality.

      Great Couch for Our Loft Space

      We love our Koala Sofa Bed. We needed something that we could get up our narrow staircase and the Koala Sofa Bed was perfect because you assemble it which was easy to do. I love the green color and the size was just right for our loft space. My only complaint would be that it is a bit low to the floor.
